Start-up grant
In order to find your way out of unemployment into self-employment, the Federal Employment Agency supports founders with the help of a start-up grant. Among other things, a complete business plan and a statement certifying the viability of the business model are required. We will be happy to provide expert assistance and opinions for start-ups in the Ostholstein district.
Start-up money
The local job centre supports unemployed persons who receive unemployment benefit II and would like to become self-employed with start-up money or material resources. The subsidy is paid for a maximum of 24 months and is subject to various conditions.
IB.SH Microcredit
The Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) offers the IB.SH microcredit, a low-interest loan for start-ups and consolidation projects of existing companies, which can be applied for with an amount of 3,000 euros to 25,000 euros within the first 5 years after founding the company.
IB.SH SME loan
With the IB.SH SME loan, Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH.) supports start-ups as well as business takeovers and consolidation projects of small and medium-sized enterprises with an amount of 25,000 euros to 250,000 euros.
Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) (Reconstruction Loan Corporation)

ERP Gründerkredit (Start-up Loan) - StartGeld
The ERP Gründerkredit - StartGeld is a loan scheme for the amount of up to 125,000 euros, which can be approved for start-ups and consolidation projects in a period of up to 5 years after foundation. No equity capital is required. Applications are submitted via the principal bank.
ERP capital for setting up
With the ERP capital for setting up loan scheme, up to 500,000 euros can be applied for to set up and run a business. Investments, material storage and warehouses as well as the purchase of companies or company shares are eligible for funding. An application is possible up to 3 years after foundation.
ERP Gründerkredit (Start-up Loan) – Universell
The ERP-Gründerkredit - Universell loan programme is aimed at young companies that have been on the market for less than 5 years. Everything that is necessary for the entrepreneurial activity is financed – this also includes procurements and running costs.
